Infamous Wrestling Academy

Our Method

At Infamous Wrestling Academy, our goal is to expand the sport of wrestling in Central Kentucky. 

IWA instructors teach the basic building blocks and techniques at the youth level. These skills help kids create good habits to build on as they excel throughout all levels of wrestling. 

Middle School and High School levels will be taught more advanced moves that still replicates their baseline techniques taught at an early age.

Wrestling in general helps all groups of athletes learn and form general skills such as balance, body control, foot-work, understanding leverage, mental and physical toughness, as well as several other fitness components. Our conditioning even at a youth level is intense. Wrestling is a very competitive and physical sport which requires our athletes to push themselves to get better.

All of our practices are closed practices (no parents). This throughout the years has been proven to help the athletes focus on the instructor without distraction.
